Shoot into the sun
The beauty of good glass (lenses) is they can usually handle extremes in light quite well. My ultimate choice of lenses these days is the Carl Zeiss Batis series and (or) the solid Canon FD vintage series lenses. Honestly, it's hard to tell them apart, I think Zeiss purposefully went with a more vintage style film coating on their Batis series lenses. None of this is confirmed of course and only my pure speculation but the resemblance in tonal contrast is beautifully similar.
One of these shots was taken on my Sony A6000 and the other on my Sony A7Rii, one was with a circa 80's Canon FD 35mm f2 with S.S.C. coatings and the other with a Zeiss Batis 85mm f1.8
